Discovery Central has many enrollment options. We enroll children between the ages of 18 months and 3 years of age. Please ask if you have specific schedule requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your childcare needs.

FREE CHOICE
During this time children are able to explore the classroom, interact with other children and choose any activity they would like.

CLEAN UP
CIRCLE TIME
Gathering as a group to play matching games, read the story of the month, sing songs and learn finger plays.
MORNING MEETING
At morning meeting the children gather together on the rug to greet one another, count the numbers on the calendar, learn the days of the week and the color or letter of the day. We also talk about the daily schedule and any changes that may need to occur.

SNACK TIME
10:15am - 11:15am
PROJECT TIME
During this time the children will have the opportunity to work with different art mediums related to the monthly theme.
GROSS MOTOR ACTIVITIES
Provides an opportunity for music, movement, games, dancing, and yoga as a group.
11:15am - 11:45am
OUTSIDE TIME
Allows children to build gross motor skills while using cozy coops on a track, playing organized games, catching, blowing bubbles, drawing with chalk and participating in pretend play in the wooden house.
11:45am - 12:15pm
LUNCH TIME

MONTHLY THEMES
Our Curriculum is based on monthly themes and literature. This curriculum is used just as a guide. If the children’s interests bring us in another direction, we will be sure to explore those themes as well.
